In the framework of the transformational strategy (SV2020) which aims at developing the interior procedures and providing high efficiently services by applying latest and most up-to-the-minute technology, Saudia has recently empowered its staff with new mobile apps to facilitate booking medical appointments.
This app is intended to improve the delivery of medical services to Saudia’s employees and their families by saving the time of the user and providing almost all medical services easily and conveniently.
The app facilitates booking medical services as the booking process, now, takes less than a minute, instead of spending more time on the phone to accomplish such a simple step. Moreover, the application offers a package of services such as the possibility of changing or canceling appointments online. The app also alerts and reminds the user of upcoming appointment with in-app notification which is sent out up to 24 hours before the appointment. Since this app is linked to google maps, the user can quickly access to Saudia’s medical city in Jeddah. It, also, displays all available appointments which could be shared via different applications and contacts.
The app is available for both IOS and ANDROID through the following link: (https://sv.net/new/eBizMobileApps.aspx), and it is expected to serve about ten thousand employees in all sectors of Saudia, its affiliated companies, and strategic units as well as retirees residing at Jeddah.
It is worth mentioning that Saudia has launched a variety of e-services during the last period, including booking and check-in apps, apple watch app, the upgraded version of (E-TOCH), and managing institutional resources app, in addition to the renewal of its official subsidiary website (www.sv.net).
